Tim Bishop - Inducted 2015

A 1982 graduate of Souderton Area High School, Tim Bishop starred in both football and baseball, receiving All-League honors in both sports.

Upon graduation, Tim attended East Stroudsburg University where he was named the Senior Male Athlete of the Year in 1986, excelling in both football and baseball. While earning a B.S. in Exercise Physiology, Tim garnered AllPSAC Honors as a widereceiver, graduating with a school record 2,146 receiving yards, which still stands sixth in school history. Tim’s accomplishments as a wide receiver earned him a spot in the top 10 in Division IIfor receptions per game in both his junior and senior seasons. Tim’s sophomore season average of 30.3 yards per catch remains the best total in East Stroudsburg University history. In 1991, Tim graduated from West Chester University with a Master’s Degree in Exercise Science.

Tim’s talents on the baseball field allowed him to continue as a professional, playing two seasons in the New York Yankees organization. After his playing days, Tim stayed active in sports, serving as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Baltimore Orioles for 16 years.

Currently, Tim is the owner and operator of PerformFit Inc., a Sports Performance Training facility in Maryland, where he resides with his wife Amy and two sons Justin (14) and Casey (12).
