Keith Stoneback - Inducted 2013

eith Stoneback graduated from Souderton High School in 1971, where he was active in athletics lettering in basketball, baseball and football. He was named to the All-League baseball team his senior year, as well as the All-League football team his junior and senior seasons. Keith is a proud member of the 1969 undefeated Souderton football team. As a linebacker, Keith also received 1st team All-State football honors his senior season. In post season All-Star games, he started in the Philadelphia City-Suburban game, and was named a co-captain of the 1971 Pennsylvania Big 33 team.

In May of 2000, Keith was inducted into the North Penn-Souderton Area Sports Hall of Fame.

After graduating from Souderton, Keith entered Duke University via a football scholarship and was the starting middle linebacker for the 33 games played during his sophomore, junior and senior seasons. He was named All-ACC 1st team linebacker, team co-captain and most valuable player in both his junior and senior seasons. He is one of only 6 players in Duke Football history to win multiple Most Valuable Player awards. He was also named as a 3rd team All-American linebacker his senior season. Following graduation from Duke University in 1975, the Duke Athletic department named Keith to the “Legends of Duke Football”, which at the time included only 74 individuals and spanned an era that began in the 1930’s.

Following Duke, Keith embarked on a business career in the healthcare and medical device industry, ultimately specializing in turn-around and startup situations. He has been the CEO and/or president of numerous successful companies over the years.

Keith comfortably resides in Scottsdale, Arizona with his wife Susan.
